If I already have a Kingsley Mfg account, why do I need to sign up for an online account?
You need to establish a username (your e-mail address) and password so that you can log in and the site can recognize you. When you sign up for an online account, we will match your information with your existing Kingsley Mfg account and link the two, so that your online account becomes a part of your existing account. From then on, you don't have to worry about it - when you log in we will immediately know who you are and have all of your account information for orders and other tasks.
Can/should each person who places orders have their own online account?
You can have as many online accounts linked to a single Kingsley Mfg account as you want. This allows each person from your company who places orders with us to have their own e-mail and password to log in, to be able to track their own order history, and to perform other tasks knowing that they will be linked to the company account for billing purposes. However, you don't have to have multiple online accounts if you don't want to - you can centralize your online ordering by using a single e-mail address and password, which everyone from your company uses to place orders. The choice of whether to use separate online accounts for each person or a single one is completely up to you - your orders will be processed correctly either way.
What if I don't already have a Kingsley Mfg account?
When signing up for an online account, if you indicate that you don't already have an account with us, then you will be asked to fill out a credit application to establish one. Once your credit application has been processed and your information verified, we will create your account and link it with your online account, so that you can place orders online or by phone or fax. Note that Kingsley Mfg accounts are only available to qualified applicants.
Is my order information secure?
All order information is transmitted securely using SSL encryption provided by a VeriSign security certificate. VeriSign is the leading provider of transaction security on the Internet.
How can I be sure that my online order is received and processed correctly?
You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order, letting you know that it has been submitted. If there are any problems with your order, we will contact you by phone to determine how to resolve them. Your order will receive the same care and attention that we give to all orders - probably more because our e-commerce site is new and the volume of online orders is still relatively low.
What if I have special requests or need to communicate additional information about a product that I am ordering online?
Each product in your shopping cart has a link to add notes about that product, allowing you to easily communicate any special requests or information about that product. This information is also retained in your order history so you have a record of what you requested.
What are the advantages of ordering online?
Although it takes a small effort to get used to placing orders online instead of over the phone, we think you will find that the advantages make it very worthwhile. You can place orders or access complete product information and your order history, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The order process is very fast, allows you to see exactly what you are ordering so it's harder to make mistakes, and shows you pricing information while you are determining what to order. With your complete online order history, you can easily track how much you are spending with us and see what products you ordered on a given date.
