This joint was designed to create a knee joint with the axis of motion located posteriorly to the upright bars, thereby closely approximating the movement of the anatomical knee. This joint is fully compatible with the free motion joint Model B1008 and may be converted by removing the rings.

Note: Infant size joints have no lower joint unit: the distal upright is machined to fit the upper joint unit.
